Membership Steps

Steps To Becoming A Member Of the Kingdom of GOD

1. Accept Jesus Christ As Your Personal Lord and Savior

Romans 10:9-10 9 That (I)if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2. Be Baptized (if you have not previously been baptized)

Baptism symbolizes our burial with Christ. It also serves as an outward [public] display of our internal faith that we have been made alive in Christ. Since Christ was baptized in water, we should follow his example.

3. Complete New Believers Orientation

When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you may start the process of becoming a member of K.I.M. Candidates for membership must attend New Members Orientation before receiving the Right Hand of Fellowship.
The class is held on Sunday and provides a broad overview of life at KIM, including:

• The Vision And Mission Of The Church

• What It Means To Become A New Person In Christ

• The Responsibility Of The Church [Body Of Christ]

• Growth & Maturity In Christ

4. Receive the Right Hand of Fellowship

• Right Hand of Fellowship is our custom that welcomes new members into our fellowship as functioning members of KIM.

• Candidates who have completed the New Members Orientation and have been baptized at either KIM or another church are eligible to receive the Right Hand of Fellowship.

• All new members will receive a church membership certificate.
